STUDY: Ugly People Get Laid in 6-8 Drink Range

According to a study funded by the National Institutes of Health, unattractive people are able to lure sexual partners into the bedroom mainly when their partners have had six to eight drinks.
The study followed a group of 221 adults between the ages of 18 and 49 who registered in the 1-3 range of attractiveness. The study showed that subjects had difficulty courting potential partners when those partners had had fewer than six units of alcohol. Below that mark, those being approached by the study’s subjects still found them gross.
The study also revealed that the subjects had difficulty when their potential partners had had more than eight units of alcohol. While in some cases potential partners still found test subjects attractive after eight drinks, they were also more easily distracted and less able physically to consummate the courtship.
“It’s a fine line that that ugly people straddle,” said Dr. Rohan Gupta, head researcher. “Either potential partners are still appalled physically or they begin to vomit and black out. That window is short and difficult to ascertain.”
Dr. Gupta recommends that ugly people carry around a portable breathalyzer in order to monitor unwitting sexual partners.

Apple launched their new car radio product offering today at South by Southwest (SXSW), an Austin-based conference that represents the convergence of music, film and emerging technologies.
The iCarRadio is an adapter that connects the iPhone, iPad or iPod into the dashboard of a car in order to convert the dashboard into a console that emanates sound and music. The adapter fits into the slot of your legacy car radio, which must be removed to make way for iCarRadio.
“People wanted an Apple product that would allow them to listen to music in their cars without the hassle of using their car radios,” said Steve Jobs, co-founder and former CEO of Apple. “The Apple iCarRadio product is the most revolutionary in-car entertainment experience since the car radio.”
Some of the iCarRadio’s features include volume control, the ability to play music and a sleek Apple logo.
“Apple has done it again,” said Deanna Chang, mobile analyst at the Yankee Group. “They invented a category that already existed, thereby creating a baseless monopoly.”
This announcement comes on the heels of Apple’s unveiling of iTelephone earlier this week.

With no answer for Verizon???s robust network, ATT is hoping that a little TLC might forestall a customer exodus.

Verizon Wireless started taking pre-orders a week ago. Though they have not divulged sales figures, the company claims that the previous record for first-day phone orders was broken in two hours.
???Na na na na na,??? said Verizon spokesperson Brenda Raney.
Reviews of the new iPhone tout improved connectivity thanks to Verizons reliable network and an improvement on the devices antenna design.
According to the Yankee Group, an analyst firm focusing on mobile technology, the inevitable success of the Verizon smartphone is less a testament to Verizon???s strengths than it is a demonstration of ATT???s weaknesses.
Others disagree. Some experts contend that ATTs disadvantages are overblown.
???Who the hell uses an iPhone to talk on the phone anyway???? said David Kriegel, an analyst at JP Morgan.
If there is consensus around the introduction of the Verizon iPhone it???s that the consumer benefits. Competition will create an atmosphere of one-upmanship out of which new features and promotions will arise.
On that front, sources say that ATT is planning on giving out cupcakes in conjunction with the release of the iPhone 5 over the summer. Verizon has not yet planned beyond basking in the glory of its iPhone.
